  • WILLCOX AMA IN-PERSON APPLICATION AND MUNICIPAL CONSERVATION PUBLIC WORKSHOPS

    On Wednesday, October 1st, 2025 from 11:00 - 12:30 p.m., the Arizona Department of Water Resources (ADWR) will hold an in-person only public application workshop for the Willcox Active Management Area (AMA). ADWR staff will have paper copies of grandfathered rights applications and will be available to answer questions.   

    Following the Application Workshop, ADWR will hold an in-person only Municipal Conservation Workshop from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. ADWR staff will be reviewing conservation requirements and collaborating with the public on the Willcox AMA First Management Plan. The workshops will be held in-person at the Cochise College – Willcox Center. 

  • Willcox AMA Management Goal Informational Meeting

    The Arizona Department of Water Resources (ADWR) will hold an informal public meeting on the Willcox Active Management Area (AMA) to discuss conservation programs, regulatory requirements, key dates, and proposals for the Management Goal. The meeting will take place on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Willcox Community Center, 312 W. Stewart St, Willcox, AZ 85643, with virtual attendance options also available.

  • Willcox AMA Public Meeting - Grandfathered Rights

    They’ll be giving a presentation on how to complete the different Grandfathered Right applications and answering any related questions on August 5th from 2:30–4:30 PM at Cochise College in Willcox. Office hours will also be held on August 6th from 9:00–11:00 AM.
